LONGVIEW — Clyde Ray Graham, 88, died Thursday, June 28, 2012. Clyde was born May 20, 1924, in Mill Creek, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beth Graham; and his three daughters, Shonda Gremillion, Shelley Love and son-in-law, Charles Love, and Stephanie Garza; grandchildren, Theron Gough, Brac Love, Tye Love, Carmen Garza Strong, Christopher Garza and Liam Atkinson; and great-grandchildren, Bailey Strong and Oliver Love. He is also survived by one sister and various nieces and nephews.
Clyde attended Dickson High School near Ardmore, Oklahoma. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Naval Seabees in the South Pacific during and after World War II.
After being discharged, he came to Gladewater, Texas, where he married Beth Beard in 1947. He worked for Fred Dean Construction Co. He later did construction work in the Rio Grande Valley. In 1950, he was employed by the Shell Pipeline Co. in Kilgore, Texas, and retired in 1987.
Words cannot express our deep appreciation for all the love and care given to Clyde by his doctors, Beacon Hospice and Comfort Keepers.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. today, June 30, 2012, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Longview, Texas.
